Dr. Kyu-Bo Sung, born in 1954, is a renowned interventional radiologist. He earned his M.D., M.S., and Ph.D. from Hanyang and Woonkwang Universities in Korea. After completing residency and fellowship training, he held key positions at Koryo General Hospital and Asan Medical Center. He served as Professor and Chairman at the University of Ulsan, School of Medicine, and held leadership roles including President of the Korean Society of Interventional Radiology and Secretary General of APSCVIR. He was a visiting fellow/professor in the U.S., Thailand, and China. Dr. Sung received the Gold Medal Award at the 12th APCCVIR and currently serves as Emeritus Professor at Ulsan University and at Seongnam Citizens Medical Center. His career reflects decades of contributions to radiology education and interventional practice in Asia and beyond.
